Psalm 78:5-8
For He established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which He commanded the fathers, that they should make them known to their children; that the generation to come might know them, the children who would be born, that they may arise and declare them to their children, that they may set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments; And may not be like their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation that did not set it's heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God.

An “Interesting” Weekend

Feb 22nd, 2008 by | 0

Last weekend Rick and I celebrated our 28th Anniversary. I really can’t wrap my mind around that one, but the numbers say it’s true.
We try to get away for a 3 day weekend on our anniversary. Sometimes it works out and other times it doesn’t. This year it did. Rick asked [...]

Galilee’s Contribution
The rock has this way of dulling the rock drill bit. The boys wanted to go buy another one, but the nearest one [...]

Feb 22nd, 2008 by | 0

Should our children be “salt and light” in the public school system of increasing immoral indoctrination? Or should we follow the directive of Deuteronomy 6?
“And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit [...]

Outside Fun

Last night, Harrison asked me to draw a tree house for him.  It soon turned into a picture of little boys playing cowboys and Indians, in and around the tree house.  I tried to fit a girl in there somewhere.  Harrison wasn’t very thrilled with that idea.  I explained that he needed to protect and [...]

I would like to thank you for the sacrifices that you have made [...]

Success

Thursday night held more excitement for the Seargeants here at Plymouth Rock Ranch. Mom was awakened at 12:30 in the morning by the sound of numerous pigs traipsing around our trailer and a very scared, barking, Darby. We were expecting the pigs to return and were more prepared this time around.
What we weren’t [...]

Darby the Bravehearted

Feb 11th, 2008 by | 0

Tonight, right after posting on Darby, the Plymouth Rock Ranch Hound, Darby took off a barking. It was an unusual bark, causing me to take notice, sorta like the bark when she discovered a snake. Very distinct.
She then bounded up onto the deck between the tent and trailer as if she was being [...]

Plymouth Rock Ranch Hound

Darby is our Plymouth Rock Ranch Hound that God so graciously gave us through the San Antonio Animal Shelter. She’s really Ryker’s dog, as he picked her and she picked him, but we all claim her. She’s the best dog we could hope to have. We *think* she is really [...]

It’s about time, I know. We’re finally getting around to posting some of Cody & Lucy’s Wedding photos.  I guess we have to get sick and slow down a little to catch up on all those “little” details of life.  Enjoy!
