Psalm 78:5-8
For He established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which He commanded the fathers, that they should make them known to their children; that the generation to come might know them, the children who would be born, that they may arise and declare them to their children, that they may set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments; And may not be like their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation that did not set it's heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God.

Science Lesson of the Day

Have you ever wondered WHY children do the things they do? Sometimes I stand in amazement and ponder, “What exactly were they thinking?!?”

I just had a child walk up to me while working on a blog post, put a small, round magnet on the monitor screen and say, “WHOA~COOL!” as this round halo of color flickered on my screen. I flicked it out of said child’s hand and said, “What ARE you doing?????” Gasp! Incredulous?????

I now have a nice, half circle of black hazing in the lower right hand screen of my monitor – permanently! Of course, said child couldn’t explain what he/she was thinking! I’m sure it was just a science experiment. Surely, that was the thinking behind said child’s actions. Surely…….

I guess we’re one step closer to that flat screened monitor that we’ve always wanted. But, until we reach that final step, we’ll have to get used to this nice, black-hazed, half circle in our monitor view.
