A Cry From Iran
Format: DVD (106 minutes)
Age Range: 12 Years and Older
An Islamic judge in north Iran condemned a zealous Christian convert from Islam, Mehdi Dibaj, to death. His crime was apostasy. Dibaj had already served ten years in prison. Haik Hovsepian, the leader of Evangelical Christians of Iran, chose to speak out and launch an international campaign for Dibaj’s sentence to be overturned. Haik’s campaign was successful, and Dibaj was released only a few days before his execution date.
But there was a price to pay....On January 19, 1994, Bishop Haik Hovsepian disappeared. Twelve days later his corpse was identified by his son. The body had been stabbed 26 times. He was not the last to be martyred. Since then several Christians have been brutally tortured and put to death. This is the untold story of their sacrifices, courage, commitment, and faith. Produced and directed by Haik Hovsepain's sons. Content in this documentary is mature and accurate. Martyrdom is a reality often overlooked or considered a truth of the past.
Audience discretion must consider content including the malicious murder of a gospel preacher and graphic images of his abused body.

Format: DVD (80 minutes)
The 16th century reformer John Knox wrote his famous tract "The First Blast of the Trumpet Against the Monstrous Regiment of Women" to oppose a notorious European female tyrant who sought to stamp out biblical Christianity in his beloved Scotland. When we approach the issues of our day we wish to borrow his biblical perspective to apply his blast against those who rule in the wake of his monstrous queen. This group, we shall see, far surpasses the queen's iniquities in both kind and degree. Today, the feminists are our monstrous regiment!
This film calls women back to a life filled with joy and beauty that can only be found by following God's Word. Content in this documentary is mature and handled with sobriety.
Audience discretion must consider content including images of aborted fetuses and discussion of Planned Parenthood agendas, including sexual activity.

This year’s winners represent the spiritual and aesthetic cream of the crop from a large body of films submitted by independent Christian filmmakers. The topics covered by these films were courageous, timely and encouraging. They addressed important questions including the reason why feminism breaks the law of God and hurts women; why fathers must turn their hearts to their children, and children turn their hearts to their fathers; why the life of disabled children are precious even when officials want to terminate them, why we must remember the Christian martyrs who are dying in Muslim nations, and the dangerous impact of statist humanism on Christian boyhood.

Authors: Anna Sofia Botkin and Elizabeth Botkin
Format: DVD (60 minutes)
A Vision of Victory for the Single Young Women of the Twenty-First Century
For the first time in America’s history, young ladies can expect to encounter a large gap between their years of basic training and the time when they marry… if they marry. Now Christian girls all throughout our country are seriously asking: What’s a girl to do with her single years?
Two years after the publication of their best-selling book, So Much More, Anna Sofia and Elizabeth Botkin are taking the message of visionary daughterhood to a new level and into a new medium. This highly-controversial documentary will take viewers into the homes of several young women who have dared to defy today’s anti-family culture in pursuit of a biblical approach to daughterhood, using their in-between years to pioneer a new culture of strength and dignity, and to rebuild Western Civilization, starting with the culture of the home.
“After twenty-five years of speaking to the home-school movement, I have never seen a more effective tool to reach the hearts of fathers who love their daughters but don’t know how to lead them, than this powerful DVD by Anna Sofia and Elizabeth Botkin.” —Dr. Marshall Foster
As the home goes, so often goes the church, and society at large. Learn along with Anna Sofia and Elizabeth, the fulfilling, exciting life of impact and accomplishment that young women can and should have. Discover the power of the family unit and a picture of the biblical home as the center of dominion work — a vibrant center of education, ministry, evangelism, culture, entrepreneurialism, and hospitality.

Format: DVD (99 minutes)
When a devout seminary professor from the 1890s seeks to publish a book which advocates the teaching of morality without explicit reference to Jesus Christ, he is given the opportunity to take a first-hand look at the implications of Christ-less morality on the world of the future. With the help of a scientific time transportation machine, he journeys to the United States of the twenty-first century. There, he witnesses the tragic results of law where there is no acknowledgement of the Lawmaker. He discovers anemic and compromised Christians immersed in a culture of entertainment who have lost their love for the Savior and their ability to speak boldly to the world. He responds to the Sabbath-breaking, materialistic, evolution-influenced, rock-and-roll culture of the twenty-first century Church with a simple, child-like faith which is sometimes humorous, always endearing, and thoroughly thought-provoking. In the end, he recognizes that any attempt to foist “morality” and “character” on a culture, without asserting the primacy of Jesus Christ, is doomed.
It is rare that a movie so impresses me that I track down the writer/director to thank him for his work, and to see what makes him tick — but that is exactly what I did after I saw Rich Christiano’s humorous, hard-hitting, independent Gospel film, Time Changer. The acting and production quality is average for an independent film, but the message of Time Changer is simply exceptional and well worth the price! DVD. 99 mins.

Format: DVD (74 minutes)
What is the godly legacy of the fathers of World War II? Their story has not been told — until now!
More than 406,000 American soldiers died during the Second World War, leaving an estimated 183,000 children fatherless. Hundreds of thousands of other U.S. troops did return, but many never connected with their children. However, within the ranks of these survivors was a remarkable collection of men who made it their life mission to speak the providences of God and the meaning of manhood to the boys who would one day fill their shoes. Through wartime letters and present-day pilgrimages to the bloody battlefields of their youth, the ancient warriors have spoken. Their thankful children rise to honor and surpass their legacy. They are “The League of Grateful Sons.”
Marine “Colonel” Bill Henderson Meet tough-as-nails Marine “Colonel” Bill Henderson. He survived thirty-six days of brutal fighting on Iwo Jima and maintained moral purity, while in the midst of immoral wartime circumstances, because of the influence of his manly Christian father. Meet P-51 Mustang flyboy Bill Brown. He was shot down over Japan, but survived to train generations to sing praises to God. Now in their eighties, these ancient warriors return to the black sand of Iwo Jima to disciple a new generation in the art of Christian manhood.
Leonard and Fletcher Isacks Joining them are sons whose fathers never returned — the Isacks brothers and “Johnny Boy” Butler — all heirs to a treasure trove of fatherly wisdom penned from the battlefield.
Shot on location on Iwo Jima, Guam, Hawaii, and in Texas, and directed by veteran filmmaker, Geoff Botkin, The League of Grateful Sons will leave you grateful for America’s heroic fathers and motivated to surpass their legacy.
Bonus Features:
* “This is Guadalcanal” — a victorious War Department message of thanks to the home-front (playing time 20 mins.)
* “Target: Invisible” — a dramatized bombing mission over Japan explaining the use of radar (playing time 7 mins.)
* “War Time Memories” — historic photos from the Pacific and home-fronts
* “Trip of a Lifetime” — photos hightlighting the sixtieth anniversary journey to Iwo Jima
Still Standing
The Stonewall Jackson Story
Format: DVD (48 minutes)
“The Sunday school class became an overwhelming crusade for him, because he believed fundamentally that every human being was a child of God and had an equal right to seek salvation. He was contributing his part toward the black race.” —James I. Robertson, Jr.
“...the legacy of a good man arising in terrible times and demonstrating by character and courage the ability of right to prevail in the midst of many wrongs.” —Dr. George Grant
His legacy as a military genius is widely renowned, by supporters of both North and South, during his lifetime and even today. Now, in Still Standing: The Stonewall Jackson Story, his legacy as a man of resolute Christian character is captured in this revealing documentary — one that explores a Southern General’s efforts to impact those around him for God’s Kingdom, including enslaved people.
Beautifully filmed in high definition and directed by award-winning filmmaker Ken Carpenter, Still Standing is punctuated by expert narrative from Dr. George Grant, William Potter, James I. Robertson, and other historians. This is a film that will warm your heart with admiration and respect for this fascinating man of God.

Volumes 1-19
When my first son was born, there was only one film series that I thoroughly trusted. I knew that these high quality videos would be free from bad attitudes, false philosophies, chaotic images, or noxious sounds. I also knew that the films would cultivate a taste for beauty, an appreciation for the natural world, a love of science, and a sound theological perspective on the Creator. They were also tons of fun. Ten years and a total of six children later, my opinion is still the same.
For my money, the Moody Science Video Classics are the most God-honoring, entertaining, theologically sound, instructive, and family-friendly video series available.
More than fifty years ago, the aptly named Dr. Irwin Moon of Moody Science had a dream. It was his goal to do what no one had done to date: Produce top-quality family films about the God of creation which could teach character and hold the attention of the entire family. Moon succeeded — and in spades.
Hundreds of thousands of children, like my own, have grown up with the memorable stories documented in these films. It has been half a decade since my son saw his first Moody Science video, but I am always amazed to see with what accuracy he recounts detail after detail. Because these films touch on history, science, and theology, we find them to be very helpful supplements to our family’s home education program.
People jaded by the typical Christian schlock available on video these days may find Dr. Moon’s films dated. After all, there are no screaming graphics, raucous music, or frenetic scene transitions. The host usually wears a suit, and the images are uplifting. In other words, they lack the chaos and mind-numbing manipulation techniques of the modern rock-and-roll-addicted, graphics-crazy, film world.
But, boy can they capture the imagination of a child. You see, Irwin Moon understood something that many churches need to learn today: You don’t need to sink to the lowest-common-denominator of foolishness to teach truth. You don’t even need talking cucumbers or giggling tomatoes to capture the attention of a child.
Instead, Moon turned to the world of the Venus Fly trap, to secret technologies of ancient man, to the wonder of the electrical eel, to instrument-based aviation, to the world of the trap-door spider, to the innovations of the Clown-Faced Carpenter bird, and thousands of other mysteries of creation to entertain and teach character.
But what makes these films special is that they are multi-generational. By this I mean that they were designed for the two-year-old as well as the sixty-two-year-old. The whole family loves them. Furthermore, unlike most of the silliness for children being produced in Christian circles today, these videos have stood the test of time and will continue to do so.
CLICK HER TO BUYA Journey Home
Winner of the Jubilee Award for Best Documentary at the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival, A Journey Home tells the story of the extraordinary path traveled by Tommy Waller, his wife Sherri, and their 11 children.
“The story of Tommy’s magnificent family captured my heart and demanded that we make this film,” said Ken Carpenter, producer/director of A Journey Home.
The story of the Waller family was filmed over an 18 month period, and includes scenes in Russell Creek (an Amish/Mennonite community), and the historic communities of Franklin and Leipers Fork, Tennessee. The film also travels with the Wallers as their current work unfolds in Jerusalem and in the West Bank areas of Israel.
“Although the Wallers essentially strip away all of the conveniences most of us equate with contentment and happiness, they possess a joy and contentment quite unlike the average American family,” explained Carpenter.
“It’s very gratifying to now see audiences being challenged and encouraged by Tommy’s commitment to his wife and children. We live in a world where television and films almost always portray the normal family as largely dysfunctional. The story of the Wallers gives us hope and a wonderful vision of what family life can really mean,” added Carpenter.
The Journey Home DVD is packed with Bonus Features that will enhance your experience with this inspiring family.
A Journey Home features music by The Peasall Sisters, Marty Goetz, and Stacy Jagger.
